Just a warning though, I think this will only apply to this problem if you are using static IPs. We've a Draytek Vigor 2820, this is a bit above most peoples spec. If I ping an external address such as a DNS server, or google.com, I get "PING: transmit failed, error code 1231" Here are screenshots of everything I can think that's relevant, I then ran the netsh command to reset my IP stuff.
