but the problem is still there..every time i tried to burn DVD-R,it failed.. wa'la.... Instead it burns the DVD in the normal DATA Format, which is not supportable by our DVD Player. So you should try this too if the problems is the disk.

This Toshiba Recovery Disc Creator Power Calibration Error error code has a numeric error number and a technical description. Try updating the CD/DVD burning software to the most recent version. If the options above do not work, disable the Image Mastering Applications Programming Interface (IMAPI) Service. the once secondary (now primary) failed the same way. It only will burn in 2.4x to begin with, and when I try to select 1x it goes right back to 2.4 - using ImgBurn or Nero.
